  • Beacon Villages Community Library is run by a charity for the community across Pitstone, Ivinghoe, Cheddington, Marsworth, Slapton and beyond.
  • We are very fond of books, but we are about much more than paper. We aim to provide entertainment, education, and information, to support the community, and to offer a friendly pace to meet.
  • Whether you need a book for your homework, want to visit the Which? website for free, or would like to check what night to put your bins out – we’ll be happy to help.
  • You can find us in the Town Hall on Ivinghoe High Street. We are open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings.

Beacon Villages Community Library can be found on Ivinghoe High Street, in the historic fifteenth century Town Hall building. The library shares the building with the village shop and post office. Our parent charity Ivinghoe Town Hall management committee looks after the upstairs room, which can be hired for parties, events and functions.

We can be found on the High Street, Ivinghoe, opposite the village green and the Kings Head restaurant. There is a small amount of parking onthe road outside the library (please park considerately) and the number 61 bus (Aylesbury-Luton) stops outside.
